Sorcerer – The classic caster archetype underperforms in Season 2. Skills like Frostclaw and Static Orb offer strong numbers, but mana issues and sluggish play hold it back. It's serviceable, but when compared to Last Epoch gold Paladin or Void Knight, it feels outclassed.
Final Thoughts
Every Mastery in Last Epoch is viable to some degree, but Season 2 has clear winners. Paladin and Void Knight dominate thanks to their unmatched combination of power and defenses, while Falconer, Bladedancer, Shaman, and Druid provide strong alternatives for those looking for different playstyles.
At the bottom, classes like Sorcerer and Warlock remain fun but inefficient, making them more "style picks" than meta contenders. Whether you're chasing ladder pushes or simply experimenting with builds, understanding where each Mastery stands will help you make the most of Season 2. The help of a large amount of cheap Last Epoch gold will be more handy.
Last Epoch's second season expands the world of Eterra with the introduction of The Woven, a mysterious new Faction devoted to the enigmatic Weaver. Their purpose is to stitch together a flawless reality, and by joining their cause, you gain access to powerful new mechanics, progression systems, and rewards that reshape how you approach the endgame. Whether you're new to Factions or already familiar with the Merchant's Guild and Circle of Fortune, The Woven offers something entirely different - blending lore, progression, and gameplay into one unique experience.
How to Join the Woven
The Woven isn't available right from the start of your journey. To pledge yourself to the Weaver, you'll need to complete a special dungeon called the Cemetery of the Erased, which can appear randomly as you progress through Echoes in the Monolith of Fate. Once you find and conquer this dungeon, you'll encounter Masque, the leader of the Woven, who will invite you to join their ranks.
Unlike the two Item Factions - the Merchant's Guild and Circle of Fortune - The Woven is classified as an Endgame Faction. This means you don't have to choose between them and your Item Faction of choice. You can freely join The Woven while still maintaining membership with cheap Last Epoch gold either the Guild or the Circle, much like with the Forgotten Knights.
